I don't enjoy talking about myself. I am 32 years old, married, and reside in Stanhope, NJ. I am Vice Chair of the Northern New Jersey Libertarian Party and founder of The Individualist. My husband and I work at The Black Forest Inn in Stanhope, owned by my in laws, the Aichem family. I am working towards my degree in Philosophy & also learning at the Ayn Rand Institute. I was born in Saudi Arabia and have lived all over the world. Through this experience, as the daughter of a Peruvian immigrant (to the US), I know how much of a privilege it is to be American. I also know from living in different states that NJ is one the top states for taxes, cost of living and heavy regulations. We need to work together to bring liberty back to NJ.

My husband and I are working to build up our homestead and Inn located in Sussex County. Stay tuned for my homestead blog. We were both raised home schooled, taught to think freely. I fear for the children in public schools. Families are at the mercy of the public school system and those in administrative positions. Parents deserve to have an active role in their children's education. It is their parental right to choose what is best for their children whether that is in accordance with popular opinion or not.

The point of education was always to teach children how to learn, expand their minds and help guide them to their purpose. Education should never be used as a tool push personal ideologies, political agendas, or make worker drones. Each child is different. Each human being has a different talent. Each individual has unique dreams.

 

Parents should be made aware of any psychological struggles their children are having. Secrets should never exist between a child and any adult who is not their parent/guardian.
